Creating Your Final Project
Technical Writing has a completely different format to it than traditional, Academic Writing. While Academic Writing is comprised of various styles of essays, Technical Writing is comprised of various styles of documents: memos, letters, email, proposals, reports, presentations, resumes, information sheets, etc.
For your Final Class Project in our class, you will need to show perfect understanding and usage of these Technical Writing documents by placing them into a 'Blogger' website that you create. Therefore, if you do not have a google account, please go to Google.com and create an account so that you will be able to easily manage your Blogger Online Portfolio as well as embed documents, pdfs, and presentations into your site using the GoogleDrive to transfer your documents from your computer into your website.
Once you have a Google account, you will create and design your website, make 'pages' for each of the Technical Writing document styles listed below, and then embed your sample documents for your online portfolio into your website.

Finally, after you have your site designed the way you like, and you have pages created for each of the 'types' of documents required for your online portfolio, you will be ready to begin embedding your items into the pages on your site.
